Refund policy

If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me and include your order number and a brief description of what’s going on. I will get back you to you ASAP and see how I can help.

For items shipped from my studio (original art, linocut prints, etc), have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. You must pay shipping with full insurance on any returns.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact me at orders@sia.studio. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 4106 Sunny Ct, Durham, NC 27705. 

If your return is accepted, then you may proceed to package and ship with a reliable provider. Insurance for the full value of the order is required as I cannot accept liability for lost packages and will not issue refunds on products not received. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

For fine art prints which are produced and shipped directly from the printer, replacements or refunds are available for printing errors, damaged, or lost products. Due to the nature of print on demand, returns and refunds are not accepted for customer changing their mind, ordering mistakes, item delivered but not received, item returned to sender, etc.

Shipping Damage: I do my very best to make sure your artwork is protected, but accidents happen. If your artwork arrives damaged upon arrival, please contact us within two days of delivery with photos of the damage.  Before opening the package, you must photograph the damaged package. You may open the package to see if the work has been damaged but if the painting or print is damaged, please photograph the damaged artwork.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as commissions, special orders, or personalized items), fine art prints shipped directly from the printer, and digital downloads. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
