Tiny Observations

Tiny Observations is a monthly art mail subscription featuring a 5×7 watercolor art print, a small hand-pressed linoprint, and a studio letter with an observation prompt. Each month centers around one thing worth noticing, inspired by my practice of painting from life.

Absolutely. Tiny Observations is not about creating perfect artwork. The monthly prompt is simply an invitation to slow down and notice the details of everyday life, whether you paint, sketch, write, or simply observe.

Each month includes:

• One 5×7 print of an original watercolor painting or study
  
• One tiny hand-pressed, signed and numbered linoprint inspired by the painting
  
• A studio letter sharing the story behind the month's observation
  
• An observation prompt to encourage you to pause and notice something in your own surroundings

The 5×7 artwork is a high-quality print of an original watercolor painting or study made from observation. Each piece begins either in the studio or on location.

The accompanying mini linoprint is hand-carved and then hand-pressed in the studio. It is then signed and numbered.

Each 5x7 print includes the artist's signature or mark from the original painting. Because Tiny Observations is an ongoing monthly collection rather than a numbered limited edition series, prints are not individually signed and numbered.

However, the tiny linoprints are signed and numbered (traditionally in pencil).

Tiny Observations is less about collecting prints and more about creating a habit of looking closely. Each month's artwork comes from a specific moment of observation, paired with a prompt that invites you to find your own moments worth noticing.

The prints are designed to be enjoyed in many ways: frame them, add them to a gallery wall, keep them in a journal or sketchbook, display them on a desk, send one as a postcard or gift, or collect each month's artwork throughout the year.

Selected past observations may be available while supplies last. If available, they will be on the Tiny Observations collection page.

You will be billed automatically on the same day each month that you originally subscribed. For example, if you join on February 10, you will be billed on the 10th of each following month.

You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next month's mail, please make changes before your next billing date.

Yes. You can skip or cancel your subscription at any time from your subscription management page.

Gift subscriptions are a great option for birthdays, holidays, or anyone who enjoys art, creativity, and thoughtful objects. The recipient will receive a new mailing each month during the subscription period.

Make sure the order shipping address goes to the gift recipient.

Each month arrives as a self-contained, wrapped envelope and makes a thoughtful recurring gift for someone who enjoys art, creativity, or taking a moment to slow down.

New mailings are sent during the first week of the following month.

For example, July's observation will be created and mailed during the first week of August.

Please allow up to 7 business days after the fulfillment notification for US orders to arrive, and up to 21 business days for international orders.

If you subscribe near the beginning of a billing cycle, you may be charged for your next month before receiving your first mailing. Don't worry—each payment corresponds to a unique monthly collection.

To keep shipping affordable, Tiny Observations is sent via USPS First Class Letter Mail for both domestic and international orders. This keeps costs low, but does mean that packages do not include tracking.

The 5×7 art print is printed on:

• 15 mil acid-free super heavy cardstock
• Matte photo-grade coating
• Ultra-smooth white surface
• Acid-free backing

Prints are produced using long-lasting 6-color photographic inks designed for vibrant, detailed reproduction and longevity.
